Book Review: “Outlive Your Life” by Max Lucado

I recently read Max Lucado’s new book “Outlive Your Life.” It was a great read! Lucado challenges readers to go beyond everyday living and to really make a difference in the life of others for the glory of God. He includes heart-wrenching stories about people who have done just that to encourage readers to live a life that extends beyond themselves.

This book immediately piqued my interest when I saw it, partially because of the author and the endorsement by Richard Stearns, president of World Vision US and author of “The Hole in Our Gospel.” I found “Outlive Your Life” to be an enjoyable book that really grabbed and held my attention throughout its entirety. Lucado inspired me to reach out more through his written word. This book stretched and challenged me to step outside of my comfort zone and to live in such a way that it makes a difference in the world around me.
